Building of the Month - Willow Tree House

Data Source: AntonyGibbonDesigns | RareStays

Tucked away on 35 acres of private land and overlooking a small swimming pond this unique cabin/treehouse is a forest paradise perfect for unwinding and escaping the chaos of city life. It is located just outside Woodstock in upstate New York overlooking the magnificent Catskills mountain range.

The treehouse was designed by architect Antony Gibbon, who is currently based in Bali, and built by local builder William Johnson.

The space consists of an open plan lounge, wood burner and kitchen with a spacious loft bedroom above. In the rear of the building is a separate shower room and bathroom with a second bedroom at the rear which could easily become an office studio space. The structure has two balconies, either side of the kitchen/lounge area with a large terrace underneath that leads down to the lake and hot tub.

Grab your kids or partner and create an unforgettable weekend!
